Worth knowing:
Fireplace and firewood is most often offered in cubic meters [m³] or spatial meters [mp] - it's worth explaining how wood volume is converted.
A cubic meter, which is a cube measuring 1m x 1m x 1m, is a hypothetical measure of wood volume, because when using it, we assume that there are no empty spaces between the logs.
The spatial meter is a more practical unit that determines the actual amount of wood stacked in a heap of 1m x 1m x 1m. It is assumed that 1 spatial meter [mp] corresponds to 0.65 cubic meters [m³] of unbarked wood or 0.75 m³ of debarked wood - in the form of logs and/or slabs.
